POLICY
Exit interviews will be conducted for all employees terminating employment with the hotel, whether voluntary or involuntary.

Exit interviews serve the function of gathering data on the causes of terminations and provide the hotel the opportunity to rectify any controllable factors.
A representative from Human Resources Department will conduct exit interviews for all employees. A standard Exit Interview Form will be used as a guide to conduct these interviews.
Human Resources Department to schedule a time for the terminating employee to be interviewed prior to leaving the hotel. The exit interview should take place as soon as possible, after notice of resignation is received.
When conducting exit interviews, the Human Resources Department should identify whether assistance could be provided to eliminate the causes for termination. It is also important and useful for Department Heads personally spend time with the employee for feedback and for good will.
Human Resources Department will follow up with the terminating employee’s department regarding concerns expressed in the interview and assist in problem determination and development of solutions for any issues identified.
