IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR MALAYSIAN HOTELIERS ON TOURISM TAX REGULATIONS

In compliance with the Tourism Tax Act 2017 and the Tourism Tax Regulations 2017 to the local tax Regulations, starting on January 1st 2023, Hotel Operators now need to collect, report, and remit the Tourism Tax of MYR10 per room per night from all foreign guests and/or tourists.
