HOW/ STANDARDS


TRAINING QUESTIONS


1) Prepare a jug of hot water, stain remover and some dry towels.




2) Use a dry towel to soak up the spillage.


The wet towels are never used first to wipe the affected area as this will cause the stain to spread.

3) Pour hot water on spillage area.


Do not use too much water

4) Spray a small amount of stain remover onto the carpet or upholstered chair. 

In case of red wine stains put salt on the carpet immediately as it is a good stain remover.




5) Use the wet part of the towel to clean the spillage immediately.




6) Wait 30 seconds for the chemical to react.

7) Wipe stained surface with a dry cloth.




8) Repeat the same steps on other spillage areas if necessary.




9) If all steps has been done, Immediately contact Housekeeping department to do a proper cleaner using machinery equipment

Inform Supervisor or Manager on the floor


Now ask the trainee to practice the task from start to end to test competency.
