Guest expect that the salt and pepper shakers are clean, easy to use and set properly.

STEPS | HOW/ STANDARDS | TRAINING QUESTIONS |
1) Collect the shakers | Collect all the salt / pepper shakers from the back station. |

2) Separate the shakers | Separate and differentiate the salt and pepper shakers. (Shaker with 5 holes-pepper and 3 holes-salt) |

3) Check the shakers | Pour out the salt and pepper into a separate plastic container. Shakers must be clean, without any chips |
|
4)Clean the shakers | Send the salt and pepper shakers to the stewarding for washing. Do not send the plastic stoppers. Collect all the salt / pepper shakers from the stewarding, clean and wipe them dry. |
|
5) Fill in the shakers | Once the salt / pepper shakers have been dried, use a funnel to fill the salt and pepper into the respective shakers. Fill only up to ¾ full. Add rice grains to the salt shakers and mix them well with the salt. Insert stoppers Wipe off any spillage and make sure that shaker is clean. | 1. 6)Repeat the same procedure | Ensure all the salt and pepper shakers are cleaned and refilled properly. |
