PA Furniture & Ornaments Maintenance

Purpose: 

To maintain the hotel’s image



Policy:

Public area is divided into guest area and BOH area. Guest area includes lobby, outlets, conference rooms, gym and recreational area. Priority should be given to the guest area, try less or not to affect the operation of the hotel in order to facilitate guests stay. 


Procedure:

  1. Preparation work prior to operation.

    1. 3-day notice should be given to concerned department

    2. Safety protective measures to be taken for operation


  1. Repair & Maintenance Content:

Ceiling, wallpaper(cloth), wall guard panel, toe-kicking line, floor tile, carpet, furniture, notice board etc. and involved trade covers carpenter, painter and mason.


  1. Maintenance Cycle

    1. Once or twice main repair every year. 

    2. In terms of actual needs for minor repair or partial area repair


  1.  Maintenance Time


A    Lobby:

  • Priority should be given between 22:00 pm and 6:30am (the following day)

  • It’s allowed to be arranged in daytime for limited areas affected not in peak time without many guests.


B   Outlets, conference room, gym and recreational area not open all day long

  • In terms of business hours


C Toilet

  • In terms of business hours


D   BOH Area

  • In principle of not greatly affecting staff ordinary life and accommodation


  1. Safety and anti-pollution measures should be taken while operation in order to ensure life safety of both guests and staff.


  1. To avoid pervasion of dust, irritating smell.


  1. Cleaning should be carried out upon the completion of the work.
