Resignation

POLICY

Termination of employment may be initiated by the employee by giving notice of resignation in writing or pay in lieu of notice as stipulated in the employment contract.



As per the newly published authorized policy, should the employee is on probation, she/he needs to raise resignation 1 days prior to her/his departure from the hotel in writing; after probation, she/he needs to render the resignation 30 days prior to her/his departure. Should the employee terminate the employment contract against such relevant ordinance; the personnel will take the responsibilities of compensation.


All benefits such as outstanding leave, overtime payment etc., which the employee is entitled will be awarded to the employee concerned. The employee must also settle all outstanding matters and to return all hotel properties to the hotel before separation.      


Department Heads should notify Human Resources Department as soon as an employee has confirmed his/her resignations if the replacement is required in order to arrange the recruitment time if yes. 


Employee termination will be handled in a professional and expedient approach by Human Resources Department.
