Employee Leave Administration

POLICY

Human Resources Office will be responsible to administer employee leave entitlement 



PURPOSE

To ensure that staff leaves entitlement is properly recorded



PROCEDURES

  1. Human Resources Department provides Annual Leave Application form which should be filled in and signed by the employee, and submitted for his/her Department Head's approval, and then Human Resources Department for verification of eligibility and other matters

  2. For Managerial level should be approved by General Manager.

  3. Human Resources Department will be responsible in maintaining and recording staff leave entitlement and balance.

  4. Leave recapitulation will include all type of leave, both Paid Leave and Unpaid Leave

  5. In accordance with Government Regulation No. 21 of 1954 article 2: An employee shall be entitled to annual leave after every period of service of twelve successive months.

  6. To maintain the smooth operation of Department and to avoid multiple annual leave request by employees in a similar capacity during festive seasons, the annual leave will be given at the Depart¬ment Head's discretion.

  7. Under such circumstances the annual leave could be given in advance but not more than six (6) days at a time.

  8. Any advance leave is to be deducted from the employee’s salary in the event of terminations of em¬ployment prior to completing the 12 months working period.

  9. During annual leave the employee shall be entitled to full wages, including service charge
