Privilege for Executives & Above

Objective :

All executives (band 4 & above) are entitled to have meals and non-alcoholic beverages in such outlets of the Hotel as the Hotel Management may decide, free of charge, in accordance with local policy.


Henceforth, the purpose of this policy guideline is to streamline the privilege in our local context as well as outlining the general behavioral guidelines to be observed in hotel outlets.




Procedure :


  1. Personal meals consumed are to be charged to Officer’s Check (O/C) and credited from food and beverage cost. (Note: Entertainment Check (E/C) is strictly for the purpose of entertainment. For details, please refer to the policy and procedure on E/C). The individual must sign the check to indicate consumption.


  1. Any un-signed O/C, the Finance Department has the authority to re-charge to the individual’s city-ledger with 50% discount, net of service charge and tax.


  1. Outlet for duty meals is restricted to All Day Dinning** only or approved by Management are also entitled to consume in Specific Restaurant.


  1. Department Head can only have buffet/special officer’s set over a la carte is served in the outlet.


  1. Room Service is only applicable for executives that have residence in the hotel, which do not include mini-bar and tobacco.


  1. Tobacco and mini-bar items consumed are chargeable at full published/menu prices, including service charge and tax.


  1. Personal entertainment consumed in any F&B outlets are accorded 50% discount, net of service charge and tax, with the exception of alcoholic beverages.


  1. Alcoholic beverages consumed are charged at full beverage list prices, except otherwise stated in the incumbent’s contract or approved by the Management.

  2. Take-away food & beverage will be charged at full menu price, including service charge and tax, unless approved by the Management.


  1. No discount is accorded for food consumed for banquet services as usually these sorts of services including prices would have already been negotiated.


  1. Non-alcoholic beverages include coffee/tea, soft drinks, and freshly prepared juices.


  1. For married status employed executive (according to the contract), your visiting dependents (i.e. your spouse and children only. Grand-parents, parents, siblings are not included) will be provided with meals and non-alcoholic beverages in only those outlets stated above, free of charge.


* Married Status employment – regardless of actual marital status, unless the employment contract states otherwise, all employment contracts are single status.


  1. Department Head must initial the guest check, which has been accorded with discount regardless the mode of payment. However, any check citied-ledger off must be settled at the end of the month upon receipt of the Accounts Statement. Finance Dept. has the right to stop credit of the individual executive who constantly defaults in his payment.

  2. Entertain Meal by Sales team will be based on approval in advance with provide the Entertain Form, otherwise will implement normal regulation.


GENERAL BEHAVIOURAL GUIDELINES


  1. Department Heads are reminded to be conscious that meals are not consumed during busy hours. Preference should always to be given to our F&B patrons first.


  1. Department Heads are reminded to be properly attired at all times when having meals in the hotel outlets. Singlet, shorts and slippers are strictly not allowed during off-hours.


  1. Disciplinary action is taken against any drunken behavior or rowdiness in outlets.


STEWARD SALES


Steward sales, i.e. purchase of food and beverage items from the storeroom, when available, would be at cost plus 10%.
