POLICY
Hotel will provide designated dining room for all staff, and 1 (one) time complimentary duty meal is provided

PURPOSE
Maintaining high standards of employee restaurant and to offer appropriate conditions for rest and break to the employees with high standards of decor, comfort, menu and good food quality.
PROCEDURES
All employees will have their duty meals in the Employee Dining Room, unless approved otherwise by the General Manager.
Employee committee will be elected consisting of representatives from the different departments of the hotel. The committee will meet once a month with a purpose:
to review the quality of food
to review operating standards on cleanliness, equipment, operating hours of the employee restaurant
to make recommendations for improvement if needed.
It is of vital importance that the Employee Dining Room is well decorated and clean at all times. Employee Restaurant equipment includes:
plants
music/television
attractively displayed menu
wall clock
Campaign Posters
Employees have to present themselves in the Employee Dining Room in their uniform/business attire before they can consume their duty meal.
The employee restaurant has its fixed operating hours as follows :
Lunch : 10.30 a.m. - 14.30 p.m.
Dinner : 17.00 p.m. - 20.00 p.m.
Supper : 01.00 a.m. - 03.00 a.m.
These times will be revised when necessary for special occasions for example during the Festive seasons/Muslim fasting month.
