Hotel to maintain the quality and color of their linen.  I don’t appreciate receiving napkins, table clothes, and bed linen which have holes or which are obviously old.

Repair Log Book



  • Linen Attendant or F&B staff must record clearly the repair/mending required in the Repair book.

  • Linen Attendant is to replace the damaged linen and place linen at the seamstress area.


  1. Why do I have to record the problem?

  2. Where do I have to place the linen?


Repair


  • The Linen Attendant has to check the Repair books and proceed with the repair or mending.

  • If the linen is badly discolored, out of shape or has been repaired many times, the Linen Attendant has to record this in the Log Book and report to the Executive Housekeeper.

  • If bed sheets require repairing in the center, they must be placed together with discarded linen for the next linen inventory.

  • After the inventory, damaged  linen can be converted into pillow-cases or baby cot sheets

  •  Please contact Executive Housekeeper if any damage has been found.
