TRAINING QUESTIONS


  • The Floor Supervisor prepares the Room Attendants daily work sheet.




  • The Floor Supervisor prepares the work sheet at 07:00 AM by using the Housekeeping Report in Opera system.

  • Each Room Attendant will be assigned rooms, preferably in the same section, in accordance with the size of the hotel and the size of the room.

  • The Floor Supervisor will enter the special assignment of the day at the bottom of the work sheet.

Issue the work sheet



  • The report will be printed out and the name of Room Attendant assigned to the section written on top left hand corner of the report.

  • The work sheet will be distributed to the Room Attendants when they sign for their floor Master Key.

  • Room Attendants get together for the morning briefing.

  • After the morning briefing all RA will move to the floor with necessary supplies they need

Update work sheet


  • After cleaning each room, the Room Attendant is required to note the following information on their report:

a)“Time in” and “Time out”

b) Actual room status at the time of cleaning.

c) Actual number of guests in the room.

d) Items on loan.

e) DND/Sleep out/RS/No luggage DND/SO/RS/NL

  • DND – Do Not Disturb

  • RS – Refuse Service

  • At the end of shift, the work sheet is submitted to the AM Floor Supervisor in charge.

Floor Supervisor prepares the Room Attendants’ work sheet 


(turn down report)



  • Floor Supervisor prepares the work sheet at 4.30 PM. To assign about 40 rooms to each Room Attendant. 

  • When assignment is ready, add in the special task of the day at the bottom of the report.

  • Put the name of Room Attendant assigned on the top left hand corner of the turn down report.

  • The turn down report is issued to the Room Attendant with the necessary keys.

  • After the evening briefing all RA will move to the floor with necessary supplies they need.

 Update Turn down report


  • A briefing will be conducted by the evening Floor Supervisor before staff goes on the floor.

  • The Room Attendant is required to note the following information on their work sheet::

  • a) “Time in” and “Time out”

  • b) Actual room status at time of cleaning.

  • c) Number of guest in the room.

  • d) DND/RS/Sleep out/No luggage

  • DND – Do Not Disturb

  • RS – Refuse Service
