Purpose:
To ensure in-the-air operation safety for all staff

Policy:
Golden Tulip’s guideline is to make all job procedure up or above GT’s safety standard and local safety operation procedures
Procedure:
Staff should check operation scene and make a decision of whether special equipment needed prior to executing any tasks or work. The staff can’t run his risk or other’s risk. No matter how important the work is, safety can’t be neglected.
If there exists danger of ‘falling off’, the staff should bring ladder, extension ladder, scaffold or hydraulic lifting platform with him.
When ladder is used, it should be assisted by another staff for supporting with hand wherever it’s above 2.5 meters high. When extension ladder or scaffold is used, if possible, try to bind the top of it.
A Complete check should be carried out by staff and Storekeeper prior to equipment being used, ensuring it’s in normal operation status.
The equipment should be carefully taken back and inspection be carried out systematically on damage or wear-out status if any upon the task is completed.
In case equipment damaged found or too much wear-out affected safety usage, the staff should keep his superior informed immediately, and be responsible of repair or replacement.
Ordinary ladders are assigned in accordance with trade (section), and kept by each section itself. However hydraulic lifting platform and aluminum alloy platform should be kept in the storeroom.
