Unpaid Leave

POLICY

The Company recognizes leave day to be categorized as Unpaid Leave, which means that the employee is not entitled for their Salary and Service Charge during those leaves.  



PURPOSE

This is not recommended and will be dealt by Human Resources Director / Personnel Manager on a case-to-case basis.



PROCEDURES

  1. The decision on unpaid leave is made by Human Resources Director. Before making this decision, Human Resources Director should acquire opinions and internal approvals of the Division Head and the General Manager.

  2. Unpaid Leave Request Procedure.

    Employee has to submit a leave application form at least two weeks prior to the leave being taken. Exceptions to this procedure will be handled on a case-to-case basis.

  3. Request for leave does not guarantee approval. It is advisable to secure all approvals on the leave request form before proceeding on any arrangements.
