Par Stock



  • All guest rooms are equipped with refrigerator containing Minibar items as listed in the Mini bar price check.

  • A par stock is set up on two floors under the control of the floor supervisor and room attendant. The par is to be replenished on a daily basis.   



Why need a par stock in the pantry?


Check Mini Bar in an Occupied Room



  • Floor attendant must check the guest room for any mini bar consumption according to the mini bar checklist when making up the room.


  • Floor Attendant post the total consumption with the phone immediately and fill out the mini bar list.

  • Give the mini bar list to Floor Supervisors and record on their work shit.

  •  Floor Supervisor will distribute mini bar item to respective Floor Attendant according to the consumption.

  • Floor Supervisor fills out the mini bar control sheet according to all mini bar list to minibar cabinet on floor.

  • Floor supervisor bring the mini bar list to the order taker before off duty.

  •  Housekeeping Floor Attendant clean up mini bar (spill etc.) if needed, and always ensure mini bar items are in    presentable condition.



How to check the minibar?

Check Mini Bar In A Check Out Room


  • Floor Supervisor is to check the key and ensure that it is in good condition.

  • When Housekeeping Floor Attendant receiving the call, check the guestroom immediately for any mini bar consumption according to the mini bar check list.

  • Floor Attendant call F/O cashier post the total consumption and fill out the mini bar list.

  • Record all consumed items on the mini bar bill, and your signature is needed.

  • Floor Attendant replenish mini bar items in room according to the consumption.

  • Floor Supervisor fill out the mini bar control sheet according to all mini bar lists on the floors.

  • Floor supervisor bring the mini bar list to the order taker before off duty.

  • Floor Attendant clean up mini bar (spill etc.) if needed, and always ensure mini bar items are in presentable condition.



Cost Controller



  • All posted Mini bar charge price checks are attached to be checked against consumption reports prepared by the HSKP office on a daily basis.

  •  Monthly discrepancy report for physical check on mini bar stock are to be prepared and submitted to the General Manager, the Financial Controller, the F& B Director and Executive Housekeeper.



What should I do for Mini bar control?

Exchange the overdue Minibar

Floor attendant will check the overdue minibar before 3 months according the Keep period, and return to F&B use.
